Analysis of a Steady Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Flow of a Convective Third Grade Fluid in a Constrained Geometry

This paper presents magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of steady convective third-grade fluid in a constrained geometry. The non-linear governing equations were solved analytically.using homotopy perturbation method (HPM). The influences of dimensionless parameters on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) flow of a convective third-grade fluid in a constrained geo...

MATHEMATICAL DYNAMICS OF THE INTERACTION OF 2-3 PREY-PREDATOR NON-DIFFUSIVE ECOLOGICAL SYSTEM

A diagram illustrating the relationship between three (3) competing predators who also compete amongst themselves and two independent prey is shown to see the nature of interdependence among the species. To this end, it is considered that the free population (without interaction) is the solution to the logistic equation of individual specie. A semi...

HYDROMAGNETIC BOUNDARY-LAYER FLOW OF A NANOFLUID PAST A STRETCHING SHEET EMBEDDED IN A DARCIAN POROUS MEDIUM WITH RADIATION

Yusuf A*, Aiyesimi Y. M, Jiya M.

The problem of laminar fluid flow which results from the stretching of a flat surface in a nanofluid has been obtained using the Adomian Decomposition Method. The model used for the nanofluid was presented in its rectangular form. The model is considered in a porous medium and incorporates the magnetic effect, thermal radiation effect and the effec...

Gradient Analysis in pipe networking for Domestic water supply system in transient flow

Transient flow in water distribution networks is studied using the Gradient Method. In an attempt to obtain solutions rapidly, a computer program has been developed in FORTRAN 77. The computer program developed herein is general, easy to use, and allows a dynamic analysis of complex looped and open water distribution networks. Piezometric heads at ...

Flow of an Incompressible MHD Third Grade Fluid Through a Cylindrical Pipe with Isothermal Wall and Joule Heating

Aiyesimi Y. M*, Okedayo G. T, Obi B. I

In this paper, we considered the flow of an incompressible MHD third grade fluid through a cylindrical pipe with isothermal wall and Joule heating. Axial pressure-gradient was assumed to have induced the motion. The governing equations of the flow field are solved using perturbation method. Results are presented.
