On Character Amenability of Fr´ echet Algebras
In this paper we examine the notion of character amenability for Fr´echet algebras A (:= Arens-Michael algebras A) with emphasis on the continuous point derivation on A. We show that a Fr´echet algebra with a locally bounded approximate identity (lbai) and lo cally bounded approximate diagonal (lbad) is character amenable.
