Abstract
In this paper, we consider the numerical solution of a generalized
fractional Burgers diffusion equation (GFBE). A fractional
variational iteration scheme coupled with Mamadu-Njoseh
polynomials was developed to effectively solve the GFBE.
MAPLE 18 software was used to carry out numerical simulations and approximations. Resulting numerical evidences
show that the procedures converges rapidly to the theoretical
solution as the order of the fractional derivative v varies.
