Abstract
In the present article, we study time-varying hydromagnetic
chemically reacting free convective flow of a viscous, incom
pressible radiating fluid past an infinite oscillating vertical plate
with variable surface conditions subject to transverse magnetic
field in the presence of temperature dependent heat source.
Soret and Dufour effects are taken into consideration. The
radiative heat flux is simplified by using Rosseland approx
imation.
The dimensionless governing equations are solved
using the symbolic algebra software MAPLE 17. The velocity,
temperature and concentration profiles are presented in graphs
and discussed. It is observed that Soret, Dufour, chemical
reaction parameter, heat source parameter, radiation parameter
and magnetic field parameter affect the flow pattern significantly.
