Abstract
The aim of this work was to model the transshipment of portablewater within Minna metropolis as a transportation problemin order to determine the optimal transshipment of potablewater to Minna metropolis that minimizes the transshipmentand mixed costs for Niger State Water Board.The computationalresults provided the minimal total shipment cost that is moreeective than the existing cost by the board's intuitive method.
