A NEW NUMERICAL METHOD FOR THE SOLUTION OF INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS

Abstract
A method of representing the exact solution to the initial
value problem by an interpolating function is considered to
generate a numerical method which enjoys the higher-order
advantage over all the existing methods. The algorithm de
veloped is coded using MATLAB programming application
language towards its applicability. The effectiveness of the
proposed method is tested and therefore found to compete
favourably with the exact solution and the existing method.
